Selling the notion that Brock Lesnar broke Shawn Michaels’ arm at Monday’s RAW, WWE.com is reporting that the Heartbreak Kid will no longer be appearing at Summerslam.
“WWE.com has confirmed that Shawn Michaels suffered a broken arm following Brock Lesnar’s brutal assault on Raw and will not be at this Sunday’s SummerSlam,” read the update.
WWE had previously been advertising that Michaels would be in Triple H’s corner for the match with Brock Lesnar. While the injury angle gives WWE an excuse to keep the Hall of Famer off the show, it would not be surprising if Michaels does ultimately show up and factor into the match’s outcome.
