“Anger Management” Finally Halts Ratings Decline

Whether or not it will be enough to score “Anger Management” is lucrative 90 episode renewal remains to be seen, but Charlie Sheen’s FX vehicle can at least claim it halted its ratings free fall.

Last week’s rating, which was for the third week of “Anger Management,” came in at less than half of what the show averaged for its premiere two weeks prior. This week, however, the show posted a minor uptick, posting a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating with 2.65 million viewers.

FX touted the performance in a press release, noting that its growth among viewers 18-34 was even more pronounced than its 13% growth in the overall 18-49 category. The show gained 34% in the coveted young demo, and that stellar figure was amplified in the women 18-34 category (45% growth).
