Phoenix Suns Replace Steve Nash; Reach Deal with Goran Dragic

Less than a day after news broke that Phoenix will be sending veteran point guard Steve Nash to Los Angeles comes confirmation that former Nash backup Goran Dragic will be returning to the Suns.

ESPN reports that Dragic has agreed to a four-year, $34 million deal with the Phoenix Suns. The deal, which is close to the salary figure Dragic had reportedly been demanding, cements the recent Houston Rockets starter in the Suns’ starting five.

Earlier in the day, Phoenix reached a deal to sign veteran Michael Beasley. It also, famously, agreed to sign and trade Steve Nash in exchange for draft picks from the Los Angeles Lakers.
