UFC Moves Chael Sonnen vs. Anderson Silva Fight; Title Match Set for Vegas

UFC put an official exclamation point on rumors Tuesday, confirming that the anticipated rematch between Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen has been moved to Las Vegas.

Due to some issues with the planned Brazilian show, UFC has relocated its key Middleweight Championship fight, one of the most-anticipated fights on the company docket, to the top of the UFC 148 card. That show takes place in Las Vegas on July 7, with Dominic Cruz vs. Urijah Faber and Forrest Griffin vs. Tito Ortiz also set for the event.

The official press conference clarifying UFC’s Brazilian plans is scheduled for late Tuesday morning.
