Big Show Tries to Avoid Choking Against Rhodes; WrestleMania 28 Results

Originally expected to work a WrestleMania 28 program with Shaquille O’Neal, The Big Show ended up in a feud with Cody Rhodes, built on his history of “embarrassing” WrestleMania moments.

Called a choke artist, Show would try to avoid coming up short at yet another WrestleMania. If he came through, he would win the Intercontinental Championship.

The result follows:

Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes vs. The Big Show
After staggering Big Show with a disaster kick, Rhodes tried to seal the deal on the match with another one. But as he ricocheted off the ropes, he flew into a spear from Big Show. Show followed up with a knockout punch and scored the win and belt.
