Gerald Green Makes Waves With Windmill Alley-Oop as Nets Fall to Rockets

The New Jersey Nets, sans Deron Williams, were unable to come up victorious against a Kyle Lowry-less Houston Rockets, but it was not for Gerald Green’s lack of contribution.
The player, now under a second ten-day contract with the organization, broke out with 26 points Saturday, a tally that made him the game’s leading scorer.
He also delivered a game highlight that emerged as a worldwide trending topic on Twitter: a windmill alley-oop slam:
Ultimately, however, the Rockets claimed 112-106 victory on the strength of reserve point guard Goran Dragic, who contributed 23 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists.
