WWE Switches Title Belts at House Show; Who Are the New Champions?

It is not one of WWE’s most common practices, but it does happen occasionally–and it did this weekend. WWE switched a championship at a weekend house show.

Correspondents confirm that the team of Epico and Primo (with Rosa Mendes) defeated WWE Tag Champions Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston to claim the gold.

Since this was the last of WWE’s house shows prior to RAW, it seems a foregone conclusion that the Hispanic-appealing tag team will make it to television with the new belts intact.
