WWE Reveals Bad News on Randy Orton Injury; Will He Miss WrestleMania?

WWE has yet to reveal the nature of Randy Orton’s injury, but its earliest of status updates is not promising.

According to reader Tom Balish, WWE announced at tonight’s house show that Orton will miss six months as a result of his injury, which will be attributed, in storyline, to the SmackDown! television match with Wade Barrett. Refunds were offered to those who did not want to see the event sans Orton.

With six months listed as the timetable for Orton’s return, significant pessimism has entered the equation regarding a match at WrestleMania. Unless Orton recovers far quicker than expected, he will not be ring-ready until June.
