“Rock Center with Brian Williams” Makes No Ratings Mark for Premiere

Brian Williams pulled an anti-Simon Cowell in the media this past week, setting very low ratings expectations for his new newsmagazine “Rock Center.”

All indications are that NBC shared those low expectations–and it better have–because the show got off to a terrible start Monday.

“Rock Center” averaged just a 1.0 adults 18-49 rating with 4.1 million viewers, which is below what any airing of the failed “The Playboy Club” garnered in the slot.

Granted, from a value standpoint, “Rock Center” still makes more sense–but this was still a dreadfully-low-rated premiere.
