Major UFC Letdown; Georges St. Pierre Pulls Out of UFC 137

UFC’s injury curse continues, and its latest victim is the biggest-to-date: Georges St. Pierre has withdrawn from the UFC 137 card with a knee injury.

St. Pierre, the Welterweight Champion and UFC’s most-successful main-event draw behind Brock Lesnar, was scheduled to face Carlos Condit, who stepped in after UFC relocated Nick Diaz from the main-event position to a bout with BJ Penn.

As of press time, there are no plans for a direct replacement, meaning Diaz vs. Penn will headline the show. St. Pierre vs. Condit will be rescheduled for as soon as possible.
