WWE RAW Spoilers Reveal Big “Return,” Latest Main-Event Angle

WWE built this week’s RAW, which was taped Saturday in Mexico, around the “return” of a name that was fired last week. According to F4WOnline.com, this was a change of plans in response to disappointment over how the prior episode was handled.

That returning name was Jim Ross, who was the focus of a follow-up angle involving John Laurinaitis. The angle, as far as RAW was concerned, produced a Jim Ross & John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio & Michael Cole main-event.

That match ended when Jim Ross put Michael Cole in the ankle lock. Other notes from the show:

*John Cena and Alberto Del Rio will compete in a Last Man Standing match at Vengeance
*Mark Henry, Cody Rhodes & Christian beat Randy Orton, Sheamus and John Morrison. The post-match established Orton vs. Rhodes for Vengeance, and as Sheamus and Christian had another confrontation, that, too, looks likely.
*Eve beat Natalya, setting up a match with Beth Phoenix at Vengeance.
*CM Punk beat The Miz; Laurinaitis had a document that kicked HHH out of the ringside area.
*Air Boom vs. Swagger & Ziggler was set for Vengeance
*Zack Ryder beat Jack Swagger; after the match, Mason Ryan saved Ryder from a Swagger-Ziggler beatdown.
