UFC Passes on Jon Jones vs. Rashad Evans Yet Again; Jones to Fight Machida

Rashad Evans will again miss out on his earned Light Heavyweight title shot–UFC confirmed Thursday that its upcoming Toronto show will be headlined by UFC Champion Jon Jones against Lyoto Machida.

UFC President Dana White made the UFC 140 main-event official on his Twitter, adding yet another chapter of anticipation to the Jones vs. Evans fight.

In this case, it appears Evans has to watch from the sidelines due to a hand injury.

The show also features Frank Mir vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Tito Ortiz vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.
