Triple H “Fires” Two WWE Superstars After RAW Main-Event

Following yet another convoluted, somewhat nonsensical show-opening discussion about a storyline conspiracy in WWE, Triple H vowed to fire someone before the night was over.

Undoubtedly a ploy to keep viewers hooked for the duration of the show, the company nonetheless did live up to its word. Triple H announced that The Miz and R-Truth, who lost to John Cena and CM Punk in the main-event, were fired (in storyline, obviously).

The announcement was intriguing due to an earlier segment, in which Triple H accepted the tag team’s apology for its antics at Night of Champions. Further, the “Awesome Truth” made a point to follow the referee’s instructions in the main-event, indicative of their remorse for what happened on the pay-per-view.

After learning of their fate, a stunned Awesome Truth ran to the back to attack Triple H. The RAW lockerroom pulled the duo off and helped HHH eject them from the building.
