“Modern Family” Continues Comedy Dominance at Emmy Awards

Fortunately for the other shows in contention, “Modern Family” has no lead actor nominees–the other awards have all been falling in its favor.

After sweeping the supporting actor categories, “Modern Family” cleaned up in the directing and writing categories at the 63rd Annual Primetime Emmys.

Steven Levitan and Jeffrey Richman won outstanding writing for “Modern Family,” while Michael Spiller claimed the directing prize for the sitcom.
