WWE Buzz Continues for CM Punk, Steve Austin Match at WrestleMania

Nothing is even close to signed, but buzz continues to point towards a possible CM Punk vs. Steve Austin match at WWE WrestleMania 28.

Many are still calling the match “unlikely” and a “longshot,” but the “no chance” attitude that emerged when talk of the match first began has softened. And there are definitely insiders who believe the match will happen at next year’s WrestleMania, adding clout to a card that already could be the most-purchased WWE event in history.

F4WOnline.com also references the frequent media mentions of the match as a sign of optimism. Punk continues to talk up the possibility, while the fact that Austin has publicly acknowledged the possibility -even if it’s a small one–suggests he is definitely considering it.
