Another WWE Announcer Leaves For ESPN

Move over, Jonathan Coachman. Another former wrestling announcer is making his way to ESPN.

During Tuesday’s NXT broadcast, announcer William Regal confirmed that his commentary partner Todd Grisham has ended his run with WWE. Regal wished Grisham well in his “new career” with ESPN.

That Grisham is on his way out is hardly surprising–his role as an announcer had been greatly scaled back and was currently a far cry from his critically-praised days calling matches alongside Matt Striker.
