Major News on Sin Cara’s Return, WWE Website Goes Missing?

The original Sin Cara finally made his WWE return on the house show circuit this weekend. Given his appearance, it would seem that rumors of WWE moving away from using the wrestler once known as Mistico are not yet true.

For the past two weeks, WWE has used Hunico in the Sin Cara role on television. WWE did not overtly reveal it was a different guy–and most fans clearly could not tell the difference–but the announcers did subtly talk about his physique change and new moveset.

It is unclear if this will build to some sort of Sin Cara vs. Sin Cara angle, but as PWInsider reports that WWE officials were said to be high on Hunico, the substitution stint should work in his favor regardless.

— WWE’s corporate website (corporate.wwe.com) is currently redirecting to WWE.com. The corporate website is intended as a tool for investors to learn about the business of WWE.
