Prepare for More “Suits,” USA Network Orders Second Season

In one of the most-expected freshman renewals of the year, USA Network’s legal drama “Suits” has been confirmed for a second season.

Certainly not wasting its “Burn Notice” lead-in, “Suits” has been a reliable performer in both total viewers and adults 18-49, and after holding solidly against the season premiere of “Jersey Shore,” its renewal became a foregone conclusion.

“SUITS exceeded our expectations on every level with its sharp writing, engaging ensemble cast and incredible production values,” said USA’s Jeff Wachtel and Chris McCumber. “Quickly embraced by our viewers, critics and the industry as a series that pushes the envelope of the USA brand, we needed no further evidence to greenlight a second season.”

The order is for sixteen episodes.
