“Glee” Writer Dismisses Report That Major Stars are Leaving

Even though it was a THR interview with “Glee” creator, executive producer and writer Ryan Murphy that prompted the report, another member of the “Glee” creative force denies that stars Cory Monteith, Lea Michele and Chris Colfer will be done after this season.

“Because they’re graduating doesn’t mean they’re leaving the show. If you have Lea Michele under contract, you don’t just say, ‘We’re going to let you go,'” confirmed Brad Falchuk. ““It was never our plan, it was never our intention to let them go…They are not done with the show after this season.”

He added that some of the other original characters will either be revealed as juniors or otherwise not end up graduating.
