WWE Reportedly Makes Major SmackDown! Shakeup, Backstage Details

Former WWE writer Court Bauer reported on Twitter Friday that Ed Koskey has taken over the lead creative writing duties on WWE SmackDown!

The role had previously belonged to long-time WWE veteran Michael Hayes. Koskey, however, had filled in for Hayes during his much-publicized suspension a few years ago, so this will not be his first instance of creative authority on the brand.

According to ProWrestling.net, Hayes remains with WWE in a role that effectively sees him managing the agents. He is also the “finish man” under Vince McMahon, says the story.
