Charlie Sheen Responds to Ashton Kutcher as “Two and a Half Men” Replacement

Charlie Sheen delivered positive and negative comments in reaction to the official news that Ashton Kutcher will be his replacement on “Two and a Half Men.”

He first told TMZ that while “Kutcher is a sweetheart and a brilliant comedic performer,” Warner Bros. television should get used to seeing a “2.0 demo” for “Men.” “Men,” one of the top comedy draws on television in the demo, regularly averaged above a 4.0 with Sheen in the lead role.

Sheen, of course, could have merely been saying that the show is set to decline in the ratings simply due to losing Sheen, and that no replacement would have been good enough to keep the show at the top of the Nielsen charts.

Later, however, he Tweeted, “#Winning Congrats to the cast and crew…CBS & WB..! My best to @aplusk!! [Kutcher’s Twitter handle] The show must go on… You got the right guy! c”

Kutcher responded, ““#2.5 @charliesheen Thank man. Always been a fan, always will be! BTW you were “born big”.”
