The Rock Promises Big WWE RAW Announcement, Steve Austin Confirmed

Both The Rock and Steve Austin used Twitter to hype appearances for tonight’s WWE RAW.

Already confirmed for tonight’s show, The Rock promised a “special announcement” for the Monday broadcast. He Tweeted, “TEAM BRING IT – I have a very special announcement tonight on RAW…The People’s Champ to The People.”

Previously-unconfirmed legend Steve Austin also announced his involvement in the show, noting, “Just finished satellite media tour for TOUGH ENOUGH. gonna drink a beer and rest up for RAW.” As the host of “Tough Enough,” which premieres after RAW, Austin definitely makes sense for a special guest appearance.

RAW airs from 9-11PM as part of “WWE Night” on USA Network. Footage from Saturday’s Hall of Fame ceremony will air at 8PM, while the aforementioned “Tough Enough” bow is at 11.
