WWE Has Big Plans for The Rock, John Cena at WrestleMania 27

Specifics have been kept tightly under wraps, but sources close to the situation are confident that fans will not be disappointed with The Rock’s level of involvement in Sunday’s WWE WrestleMania 27 pay-per-view.

According to F4WOnline.com, current plans call for The Rock to get far more physically involved in the show than he did on Monday’s RAW, with the belief that an angle, to be executed over Sunday’s pay-per-view and Rock’s appearance on Monday’s RAW, will leave the door open for “something going forward.” Most assume that means a Rock vs. John Cena pay-per-view match, although when that match will happen remains unclear.

In addition to his RAW appearance on Monday, Rock will also appear on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” that tonight to discuss his recent WWE involvement (and presumably promote the upcoming “Fast Five”).

As of press time, many were of the impression WWE would ultimately book The Rock’s most significant involvement for the final WrestleMania segment (and the wrestler-actor implied that himself in a recent MTV interview). There are, however, still some supporters behind booking Triple H vs. The Undertaker as the show’s last match.
