Pia Toscano, Paul McDonald Dominate “American Idol” Top 13 Buzz

Several of the top thirteen “American Idol” performances garnered rave reviews from the judges and online critics, but fan search buzz currently favors Pia Toscano and Paul McDonald.

As of 11PM, the top two searches on Google’s Trends listing are linked to the performances the two delivered Wednesday night.

Leading the list is “all by myself eric carmen,” a reference to the show-stopping rendition of “All By Myself” Toscano delivered midway through the show.

“Ryan Adams” is tracking at number two, with search interest fueled by McDonald’s cover of his “Come Pick Me Up.” In evaluating McDonald’s performances, the judges referenced Adams by name multiple times.

Garth Brooks is tracking in two slots (‘garth brooks songs’ at number twelve and ‘garth brooks las vegas’ at number fourteen), with the former likely helped by Scotty McCreery’s take on his “The River.”
