“Two and a Half Men” Drops Charlie Sheen, Is Replacement Coming?

It looks like Warner Brothers sees neither the humor nor philosophical value in “winning” and “tiger blood.” Confirming the worst for “Two and a Half Men” fans, the studio behind the CBS mega-hit announced Monday that it has terminated Charlie Sheen’s contract on the show.

“After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen’s services on “Two and a Half Men” effective immediately,” read a statement, first published by Variety and THR.

Neither CBS nor WBTV has announced whether “Men” will resume without Sheen next season, for which it had already been picked up. Production was ended on the current season, the show’s eighth, following a series of erratic interviews Sheen gave, some of which included inflammatory remarks directed at showrunner Chuck Lorre.

Readers, should the network and studio decide the benefits are too significant to officially cancel “Men,” who would you recommend as a replacement for the Charlie Sheen character? Should there be one?

  1. Jack Black would be the perfect replacement. He is a naturally funny person and I believe he would eclipse Charlies character after just one episode.

  2. TONY DANZA WOULD BE A PERFECT REPLACEMENT FOR THE CHARACTER THAT CHARLIE SHEEN PLAYS IN TWO AND AHALF MEN.

  3. Have a funeral for charlie as he dies from a liver failure and Allen finds out Charlie willed his house to Another brother that only charlie and their mom new about that their mom gave up for adoption years ago.

  4. I think John Stamos would be a great replacement for Charlie Sheen. He could play a similar tyoe character. A cousin or even long lost brother.

  5. i think no one can replace charlie coz he was so gud in his acting and i think sheen and WB shud talk sumthin out and resume the show

  6. Two and a Half Men is the funniest show on TV. The funniest characters are Jon Cryer (Alan), Angus T Jones (Jake) and Conchata Ferrell (Berta). Charlie would be the easiest one to replace. I think Owen Wilson, Matthew Perry or Robert Downer Jnr would all make good replacements.

    Keep this hilarious show running!!!

  7. Robert Downer Jnr is the obvious choice as he just needs to play himself and the plus side he has fixed up his personal life something Sheen has failed to do.

  8. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU CHECK OUT BRETT GIBSON FOR THIS PART ! !

HE WOULD BE A NATURAL…I have worked with him on our film and he is So EASY TO WORK WITH AND HAS THE NACK TO PULL IN AN AUDIENCE…JUST FUN TO WORK WITH AND WATCH ! ! !

Michael V. Caldwell..Executive Producer Of “HOT ROD HORROR” Preview our film to watch Brett Gibson..He was a Pleasure To Work With..And Naturally Funny..AND HAS THE LOOK YOU NEED TO FILL THIS ROLE ! ! !
