WWE Pulls Two RAW Superstars, Plans to Revamp Their Characters

According to F4WOnline.com, the events on Monday’s WWE RAW were indeed designed to serve as short-term write-outs for Alex Riley and Michael McGillicutty.

The story says that WWE intends to repackage the two stars for an eventual return to weekly television, with the possibility of a return to developmental not out of the question.

Both have their supporters, but the feeling was that neither was truly clicking in his current role.

The presumed launching of McGillicutty’s hiatus was executed in script-form via a trademark “punt” from Randy Orton. Meanwhile, the outcome of the RAW main-event resulted in Riley being “fired” as The Miz’s sidekick, and the expectation was that WWE was going to remove him from the RAW roster outright.
