WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio Denies Retirement Rumors

In conjunction with WWE’s main-event push for Alberto Del Rio and the highly-promoted signing of Sin Cara, there have been rumors suggesting WWE veteran Rey Mysterio is close to ending his career.

Various backstage reports said that WWE was getting behind the aforementioned names in large part due to the need to create Hispanic-skewing stars to replace Mysterio once he leaves the business.

According to Mysterio, however, his retirement is not on the near horizon. The wrestler wrote on Twitter that he has “many years” of performing left.

“The rumor is I might B retiring soon! NOT TRUE, got many years left of entertaining my FANS!U guys keep me going! Luv it! Los quieroUnChingo,” wrote Mysterio.
