Rising movie actress Amber Heard, who made headlines recently by formally coming out as a lesbian, is reportedly in talks to make the jump to television.
Deadline reports that Heard is in talks with NBC for its “Playboy” pilot. Set at the Chicago Playboy club in 1963, Heard would play a new hire with “untethered sexuality and a dark past.”
Tapped to helm the pilot is Alan Taylor, who did the same for the acclaimed “Mad Men” premiere.
