UFC Fighter Brock Lesnar Denies WWE WrestleMania Interest

An post-fight encounter between former UFC Champion Brock Lesnar and his former WWE colleague The Undertaker at UFC 121 sparked buzz about Lesnar possibly getting into bed with the wrestling company for a one-off appearance at WrestleMania.

Though UFC President Dana White, who holds Lesnar’s contract, denied the possibility from the start, rumors persisted that WWE was to put on a full-court press to make the appearance happen.

More importantly, reports, notably those from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, implied that Lesnar, himself, was very interested due to the fact that he could promote his upcoming biography and make about $2 million with a relatively-harmless foray into the ring.

Brock, however, denies that he ever expressed such interest.

Speaking to Kevin Iole of Yahoo! Sports, Lesnar explains, “That thing just took on a life of its own…I’m a fighter. There wasn’t anything there. I never pursued anything, no.”
