Natalie Portman, Annette Bening Claim Actress Golden Globe Awards

Acclaimed actresses Natalie Portman and Annette Bening are certainly thankful for the Golden Globes’ distinction between drama and comedy/musical. The leading ladies, who starred in two of 2010’s most buzzed-about films, both earned trophies at the 68th Golden Globe Awards.

For Portman, it was a leading actress in a drama prize for her work in “Black Swan.” For Bening, it was a comedy win for “The Kids are All Right.”

Portman’s victory came over a list of actresses that included Halle Berry, Nicole Kidman and Michelle Williams. Bening, meanwhile, topped her co-star Julianne Moore as well as Angelina Jolie and Emma Stone for the pickup.
