It sure seems like Jake Gyllenhaal will not be on the receiving end of “Back to December Part Two.”
According to a report on US Weekly, actor Jake Gyllenhaal initiated the breakup with country-pop superstar Taylor Swift last month.
“Jake reached out to her and started all of this, but now he’s not acting as interested,” says the US Weekly source of the relationship’s chronology.
“He said he wasn’t feeling it anymore and was uncomfortable with all the attention they got,” adds the source of the fall-winter fling. “He also said he could feel the age difference. Taylor is really upset. We told her not to move so fast with this but she didn’t listen.”
An insider close to Gyllenhaal attributes the troubles to the excess of publicity he endured while dating the singer-songwriter.
Explains the source, “He wants to keep his private life private, and that’s hard to do dating Taylor.”
Gyllenhaal had previously dated Kirsten Dunst and Reese Witherspoon, while Swift had earlier been linked to Taylor Lautner and Joe Jonas.
