News came earlier Saturday that Alessio Sakara, who had been scheduled to fight Jorge Rivera in the number two bout, withdrew due to an illness. As the withdrawal came so close to figh ttime, no replacement bout could be scheduled.

The Duane “Bang” Ludwig vs. Nick Osipczak fight was bumped to the main card of the show.

Yushin Okami vs. Nate Marquardt, a number one contender bout for the UFC Middleweight Championship, airs as the main event.
