Undertaker’s Injury and WWE Return, CM Punk Note, Beth Phoenix

WWE broke with conventional booking wisdom by having Undertaker lose to Kane, yet again, at the WWE Bragging Rights pay-per-view.

As was noted in a Headline Planet story prior to the pay-per-view, the booking choice was necessary given Undertaker’s need to take some time off. According to F4WOnline.com, ‘Taker is dealing with a shoulder issue, and the expectation is that he will need a month or two off.

Word was not available on whether he will be pursuing surgey.

Other notes:

— PWInsider.com reports that there was concern over the fact that CM Punk might have hurt his hip or back. The latest word, however, is that he is fine.

— Beth Phoenix is due back to television shortly.
