WWE Welcomes Celebrity Back as “Producer and Director”

PWInsider.com reports that Freddie Prinze, Jr. has returned to the WWE fold. Effective Monday, the “24” actor is contributing to WWE as a “producer and director.”

Prinze, a longtime WWE fan, previously contributed to WWE’s creative team. His 2009 departure from that role was on friendly terms, and he remained complimentary of the product, the WWE roster members and his experience in the creative position in media interviews hyping his work on the eighth and final season of “24.”

During his separation from WWE, Prinze also made a sole appearance as a RAW “guest host.” He sold a beatdown at the hands of Randy Orton.
