ABC Cancels Poorly-Rated “My Generation”

The word is that ABC has officially ended production on freshman drama “My Generation,” which posted abysmal ratings for its first two episodes.

After opening to just about 5.2 million viewers with a 1.6 adults 18-49 rating, Thursday’s follow-up episode fell all the way to 3.8 million viewers and a 1.1. Its cancellation was inevitable, and it simply came down to when ABC officially wanted to declare the show’s death.

A replacement for the Thursday at 8PM timeslot was not expected to be named until next week.
