WWE Considering Turning NXT Winner Heel for Big SmackDown! Feud

WWE NXT season two winner Kaval’s success in the pseudo-reality show was largely due to his positioning as a fan favorite, but if a long-time plan is executed, that run as a babyface could be coming to a hasty end.

F4WOnline.com reports that WWE is considering turning Kaval heel for a feud with Rey Mysterio. Mysterio was a big supporter of Kaval at the time of his initial WWE signing, and there was a clear movement in place for WWE to run a feud between the two on television.

Various injuries to the two wrestlers prevented that from happening, but the feeling is that the time is now right for WWE to run this program.

  1. Mysterio should be done with his program with Del Rio within a month or so. That’s plenty of time for the writers to gradually turn Kaval into a heel. Any push for the guy would be a good thing since he seems to just be floating around Smackdown right now.
