Brad Copeland, a producer on shows like “Arrested Development” and “My Name is Earl,” is booked to serve as a writer, as well as the showrunner and an executive producer.

— Elsewhere on cable, USA Network handed renewals to original series “Royal Pains,” “Psych” and “White Collar.” The orders bring “Royal Pains” and “White Collar” to three seasons each; “Psych”‘s renewal calls for a sixth season.

Various reports, including one on Deadline, say the “Royal Pains” order is for eighteen episodes, while the other two shows have received orders for sixteen more.
