“Glee” Director Ryan Murphy Scores Emmy at 62nd Annual Awards

“Glee” evened the score with “Modern Family” at the 62nd Annual Emmy Awards, as series creator Ryan Murphy grabbed an award for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series.

Murphy earned the award for his work on the “director’s cut” of the show’s pilot.

Other nominees included the “Wheels” episode of “Glee,” “30 Rock”‘s “I Do Do,” “Modern Family”‘s pilot and “Nurse Jackie”‘s pilot.
