Because WWE’s ownership of the ECW brand name prevents TNA from actively promoting its “hardcore originals” with reference to that brand name (it can, apparently, still reference their past in ECW), TNA had to identify a new name for the group of wrestlers set to compete at the “Hardcore Justice” pay-per-view.
According to various correspondents, that name will be EV2.0, standing for “Extreme Version 2.0.”
PWInsider.com reports that the name was an Eric Bischoff suggestion. It was apparently used throughout the Monday iMPACT! taping, which filmed the episode set to air this Thursday.
Hello, – came across your current internet page by accident whilst roaming across the internet this afternoon, and pleased that I did! I like the structure and tones, but I ought to point out that I’m having trouble when it loads. I’m using iCab 4 browser for mac, and the top panel will not line up the right way. i’m confident made use of the equivalent layout on a customer’s site, but the menu seems Ok on mine. I have an idea the problem is at my end & maybe it’s time to swap!
