The “Glee” panel at Comic Con was a newsworthy one, revealing a number of tidbits and planned storyline developments for the upcoming second season.
While creator Ryan Murphy maintains that plenty of attention will be given to the individual characters, there are also more theme episodes planned. In addition to the previously-confirmed Britney Spears episode, there will also be an episode revolving around “The Rocky Horror Show” as well as a religion-centric episode that features a visit to Mercedes’ church.
Other tidbits:
— Tina will fall “out of love” with Artie and begin a relationship with Mike Chang.
— The openly-gay Ryan Murphy views upcoming Kurt storylines as his chance to craft the high school experience he never had. “I want him to have a boyfriend and for them to be prom king and king. I think that’s something important to put out into the world.”
— Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth will both return for guest appearances in season two.
— An episode will tease a kiss between scene-stealers Santana and Brittany.
