Report: Prison Inmates Complain About Lindsay Lohan’s Treatment

Forget her natural distance from the group as a recognizable Hollywood actress and singer–Lindsay Lohan’s treatment at the Century Regional Detention Center has reportedly frustrated some of her fellow inmates.

Actress Lindsay Lohan s father Michael Lohan and his girlfriend arrived at the Beverly Hills Court house on July 20, 2010 moments before his daughter arrived with her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley to face the crowd of media and fans waiting for her to be sentenced to do jail time. This morning Judge Marsha Revel ordered Lohan to jail and said there would be no electronic monitoring or house arrest that could reduce her 90-day sentence. Judge Marsha Revel had the cameras turned off when it came time to cuffing Lindsay and taking her off to her new temporary home. Outside the court house fans screamed and protested Lindsay s freedom. Fame Pictures, Inc

“She’s not treated like if it was anyone else going to jail,” says Maria Medina, a relative of one of the prison’s inmates, in an interview with People. “Like, if they even want to bring her new clothes or bring her anything, they put the whole facility on lockdown. It happens all the time.”

She adds, “All the inmates are sick of Lindsay…It’s almost like Lindsay Lohan’s here, but she’s not. Like if she even moves, they put the whole facility on lockdown. It happens all the time. For example, just yesterday [Friday], Lindsay had to go to the mini-clinic, and the whole place was on lockdown again.”

A spokesperson for the facility, however, refutes the claims, noting that “lockdown” does not even exist at the prison.

“It’s business as usual. Lindsay’s getting no special treatment,” says Sheriff’s office spokesman Steve Whitmore.

  1. I also can’t believe that lindsay whom we know as now is the same lindsay that starred in herbie the love bug and mean girls. It is a complete travesty to find out which the courts have taken care of this and the way a hollywood organization payed off 7 figures for the story after she gets outside of prison. nothing hotter then hollywood glorifying felony activity. The entire lohan family unit are fully out of their minds. Dina and Micheal did a really good job…not.
