“Vampire Diaries” Adds to Cast, “Fringe” Books Season Premiere Guest

Entertainment Weekly confirmed this week that “Fringe” and “Vampire Diaries” have booked males from expired television series for next season

FOX’s sci-fi series “Fringe” has tapped “The Wire” alumnus Andre Royo to guest in the third season premiere. Royo will play a cab driver who gets into a “tense situation with Olivia.”

The CW’s breakout “Diaries,” meanwhile, has turned to “Trauma”‘s Taylor Kinney for the recurring role of Mason Lockwood.
