Ratings “Downfall” Continues for Chris Jericho’s ABC Show

Though viewership for ABC’s “Downfall” slipped only slightly from last week’s ratings, bad news emerges from the fact that the drop came despite stronger lead-in support from “Wipeout.”

Following an episode of “Wipeout” that earned a 2.9 adults 18-49 rating with 8.76 million viewers, “Downfall” slid to a 1.3 rating with 3.77 million viewers. Last week, “Downfall” parlayed a 2.6 demo lead-in from “Wipeout” into a 1.4.

ABC’s closer “Primetime: Family Secrets” offered a 1.2 rating with 3.78 million viewers.

Other ratings notes: NBC’s “Losing it with Jillian” (1.2 rating, 3.94 million) and “America’s Got Talent” (3.4 rating, 11.70 million) and FOX’s “Hell’s Kitchen” (3.1 rating, 6.81 million).
