Although its ratings have been on a decline since its premiere three weeks ago, “Hot in Cleveland” remains a breakout success for TV Land, and it has already earned a second season renewal.
“We are so excited that Hot in Cleveland was embraced by viewers in such a big way,” said TV Land’s Larry Jones. “We absolutely love the show and can’t wait to see what hilarious new experiences these characters will encounter in the next 20 episodes.”
After premiering to the strong tune of 4.8 million viewers, “Cleveland” has dropped steadily, with last week’s episode garnering 3.1 million. Nonetheless, the show has plenty of breathing room on the network and could continue its drop without entering into endangered territory.
