Neil Patrick Harris Confirmed For “A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas”

Neil Patrick Harris, whose recent career resurgence can largely be attributed to his scene-stealing cameo in “Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle,” will be back for the series’ third film, a rep for the actor confirmed to Entertainment Weekly.

NPH, who appeared in the first two films as an exaggerated, drug-abusing, womanizing version of himself, appeared to be killed outside of a brothel in “Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay” but was revealed to have survived the gunshot wounds in a “secret clip” attached to the credits.

Due for 2011, the film will mark series star Kal Penn’s return to entertainment after embarking on a hiatus for a gig with the Obama Administration.
