Dana White: Keith Jardine Released From UFC; Return Still Possible

UFC President Dana White confirmed to MMAFighting.com that Keith Jardine has officially been released from the leading mixed martial arts promotion.

Jardine, whose loss Saturday to Matt Hamill marked his fourth straight (fifth in his last six fights and sixth in his last eight), debuted on season two of “The Ultimate Fighter” and had been a familiar face through much of UFC’s mainstream rise.

In confirming the release, White nonetheless offered an optimistic take on Jardine’s future.

Said White, “I have nothing but respect for him and I hope to see him back soon.”
