Booker T Rips Batista Over MMA Plans, Talks Lashley Possibility

Booker T dismissed his former WWE colleague Batista’s apparent interest in mixed martial arts, telling TMZ that ‘Big Dave’ could not “match up” with the heavyweights in Strikeforce.

The former WWE and TNA wrestler, who once, infamously, got the better of Batista in a backstage fight according to insider reports, added that he does not believe Batista could last even five minutes (one round) with wrestler-turned-fighter Bobby Lashley.

In video comments made to a TMZ camerman this weekend, Batista announced that he would be debuting as a mixed martial arts fighter for Strikeforce. Strikeforce reps quickly dismissed the claim, although multiple sources have confirmed that Batista is at least in talks with some smaller MMA organizations.
