“Heroes” Star Scores Role on NBC’s “Love Bites”

Greg Grunberg’s guest storyline is a focal point of the “Love Bites” pilot, and if a story making the rounds is true, it will not be his last appearance on the show.

Grunberg, whose “Heroes” was canceled, reportedly told Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello that he will be joining the cast of the new NBC comedy as a series regular.

“Love Bites,” an anthology comedy series that features guest stars in different short stories about love each week, has an ongoing storyline at its center featuring stars Becki Newton and Jordana Spiro questing for their own shots at love. Grunberg, who appears in the first episode as a married man who gets the opportunity to have sex with Jennifer Love-Hewitt, who is one of the celebrities on his “cheating exemption list,” will now apparently be featured weekly as well.

An exclusive trailer for the new show can be found here.

The show premieres this fall in the Thursday, 10PM timeslot.
