Report: Backstage Heat on a Rising WWE Superstar

F4WOnline.com reports that Drew McIntyre is on the receiving end of heat from WWE officials and some of his fellow Superstars.

Specifics were not offered, but the report claims that office workers are souring on McIntyre due to issues with his “behavior.”

His wrestling colleagues, meanwhile, have reportedly developed a feeling of resentment for the wrestler. There was natural resentment at the onset of his push, as fellow talent obviously questioned whether he deserved such high profile creative backing.

Additional ill will has emerged due to the fact that despite his failure to truly get over, WWE has not yet abandoned his push (and, if anything, has given him a more substantial role). The feeling from those frustrated wrestlers is that because his fortunate opportunity has not proven successful, the television time and creative support should be given to those who have more effectively worked to get themselves over.

Sources backstage were clear in emphasizing that his recent marriage to Tiffany has nothing to do with the backstage resentment.

  1. I dunno about his backstage attitude but Drew has done a great job as a heel so far, feuding with Matt Hardy and I frankly believe he deserves the push. This guy’s got potential, and he was very convincing in his feud. I hope we’ll see more of him in the next years.

  2. I cannot believe that some people say that he deserved his “meteoric push”. He is a really lucky guy, besides of being married to Tiffany. I swear that Jack Swagger, Ted DiBiase Jr., Kofi Kingston, The Miz and other young talents wrestle a lot better than him. It is only the hype that he got from the creative team. But this guy does not deserve the championship. Other wrestlers should be in this state, not only him.

  3. real WWE,
it is amazing how this wrestler present them selves to us despite that what is real goin on with their job secure!
i like your information and im stayed tuned .
