WWE’s Plans For RAW GM, Backstage Reaction to Vickie Guerrero

Although last night’s RAW general manager storyline seemingly came to a quick conclusion with Vickie Guerrero’s apparent ‘resignation’ from the role, sources say WWE still wants to move forward with the concept.

There are no plans for WWE to abandon its weekly guest hosting arc on RAW, but even in maintaining a weekly celebrity presence on the show, WWE wants a more knowledgeable authority figure that can do a better job announcing matches and selling the angles.

Regarding Vickie Guerrero, her appearance on this week’s show was a last minute scripting call made Thursday. WWE officials apparently had no idea she would get over as well as she did, and there is already contemplation about bringing her back into the weekly RAW mix.
